Oh yeah notes from a party!

I forgot these funny moments....
Last night was the Squirrel's family birthday party with Grandma's chili, Daddy's cake and coffee.
The little guy was so excited with the game cube that my mom and beau got him I thought he was going to pee!
As my husband painstakingly got the birthday candle wax from the cake - taking a bit too long I complained. He said "I don't want anyone to eat wax!' I came back with "Hey we are from the 70's! We ate red wax lips and thought it was candy!" He was silent on that note... but my sister gave me a high five.
Even the usually cantankerous beau pronounced the cake good.
I was proud of my son as he read every card and letter out loud!
Ok enough for now. I am sure I'll have lazer tage stories tomorrow!
